Getting Started with Projects

The purpose of Conojo is to provide its users with an effective way on how to manage their projects. You should know how to all of the operations which are necessary as long as projects in Conojo are concerned. Once you are logged in successfully in Conojo, you are taken to the page which has all of the projects which you have created. Let us discuss these.

Creating projects in Conojo

To create a new project in Conojo, just follow the given below:

  1. Open your browser and then type the following URL: http://app.conojo.com.
  2. Login in to your Conojo by use of the username and the password which you provided. If you had changed your password in our earlier post for resetting the account password, then make sure that you use the new password.
  3. In the next window presented to you, identify a blue button written “Create New Project” located at the top right corner of the window and then click on it.
  4. A window for “CREATE A NEW PROJECT” will pop up. In this window, just provide the details of the project, that is, the “Project title” and then select the type of project that you are creating.
  5. Once you are done, click on the button at the bottom written “Create New Project”.

The project will then have been created and added to your Conojo account.

Adding files to a project

Your project might be having files which you might need to upload to it. This can easily be done with the Conojo software.

The following steps are necessary for one to upload files to their project in Conojo:

  1. Open your browser and then type in the following URL: http://app.conojo.com
  2. You can then use your personal details which include the username and the password so as to login to your account. If you had changed the password, use the new one which was provided to you by the system.
  3. You will then be taken to the screen which has all of your projects. Identify the project for which the files need to be uploaded. You can then click on this project.
  4. Once you have clicked on the project, you will be taken to the window on which files upload can be done. The window will appear as shown below:
  5. If you need to navigate to the system so as to select the files, that is, use the upload screen, then click on the first option shown in the above figure. A window will then pop up.
  6. In the window, navigate to the directory in which your files for the project have been stored. Once you find the files, selecting them and then click on “Open” button of the window. The upload process for the files will start.

Adding a member to a project

Members can be added t a project by sending them an invitation which they will accept or decline. The following steps are necessary for this to happen:

  1. Open your browser and then type in the following URL: http://app.conojo.com.
  2. This will take you to the window having all of the projects which you have created. Identify the project for which you need to add members to and then double click on it.
  3. On the next window which appears, next to the top right corner, identify the button with plus (+) symbol and then click on it. This button is shown below:
  4. A window for adding people to the project will then pop up. You will then be prompted to enter the email address of the member you need to add to the project. Just type in the email address of the member.
  5. Once you have entered the email address, just click on the button written “Invite People” and see what happens. A window which shows the status of the invitation will pop up.
  6. If you need to add more people to the project, then just follow the steps given above and they will be invited to join the project.

Creating a Meeting for a Project

Meetings are very important when it comes to working on projects. In Conojo, you only have to add the members to the meeting and they will be in a position to participate. This can be done as follows:

  1. Open your browser and then navigate to the following URL: http://app.conojo.com.
  2. Identify the project for which a meeting is to be created and then click on it.
  3. At the top right corner of the window which appears, identify the button written “Create a Meeting” and then click on it.
    1. A “CREATE A MEETING” button will pop up. You will then be required to provide the details for the meeting in this window. The details in this case include the Notes for the meeting, the name of the meeting and the date & time for the meeting. You will also need to select recipients for the meeting, who will be the participants in the meeting.
    For the case of the date and time, a calendar will pop up from which you will be required to select the date for the meeting.
  4. Once you have specified all the details for the meeting, click on the button for “Create Meeting” located at the bottom of the pop up.

You will then have created your meeting. You will notice that once you have clicked on the button, an email will be send to your inbox immediately notifying you of the meeting. The members whom you have added to the meeting will also be notified of the same.

Addition of a Note to a Project

Notes are very important for projects. They increase our ease of understanding of the project. These can be added as follows:

  1. Open your browser and then type the following URL: http://app.conojo.com.
  2. You can then log in to your account by use of the username and the password that you used to create your account. In case the password had been changed, then make sure that you use the new one so as to avoid getting errors.
  3. You will then be taken to the window having all of the projects which you have created. Identify the one that you need to share.
  4. On the project, move the cursor to the top right corner and then click on the icon for settings. This icon is shown below:                                                
  5. A pop up will then appear and this will specify the actions which you can perform on your project. Identify the option written “Share” and then click on it.                                                 
  6. A window will pop up in which you will be required to provide the details of sharing of the project.                                                        
  7. Just provide your email as you have been directed to do. After doing that, just click or choose the social on which you want to share your project. This can be Facebook, Twitter or Google+.

Sharing of Projects

You might need to share your project on social media such as Twitter and Facebook. This can be done as follows:

  1. Open your browser and then type the following URL: http://app.conojo.com.
  2. You can then log in to your account by use of the username and the password that you used to create your account. In case the password had been changed, then make sure that you use the new one so as to avoid getting errors.
  3. You will then be taken to the window having all of the projects which you have created. Identify the one that you need to share.
  4. On the project, move the cursor to the top right corner and then click on the icon for settings. This icon is shown below:

Deleting a Project

Once you are done with a project, you might need to delete it. This can be done as follows:

  1. Open your browser and then type in the following URL: http://app.conojo.com.
  2. Login to your account by use of the personal details which you provided during the creation of the account. You will then be taken to the page having all of the projects which you have created.
  3. Identify the project which you need to delete.
  4. At the top right corner of the window for the project, click on the settings button which is shown below:                                                                                                                                                                                   

    The following drop down list will appear:                                                         

  5. Click on the option for “Delete”. The following window for confirmation of the deletion will appear:                                                                                        
  6. Click on the “Delete” button so as to continue with the deletion.

The project will then be deleted.
